I still can’t get over what an amazing actress she is

I think its better that Jo died before Ellen. Ellen obviously was destroyed watching her child die but she said right after she died, “It’s okay. It’s okay, that’s my good girl” she didn’t want to see her die, but more than that she didn’t want Jo to be afraid. She didn’t want her to feel the explosion, or that hellhounds if they got to them first. She didn’t want her to die scared. 

Jo died in her mother’s arms, not in a firey blast of hellhounds and explosives and burning scraps of wood and metal. She died as peacefully as the circumstances would allow. 

That’s why I’m glad Ellen and Jo died. Not like I wanted them to die but their death scene was emotional as fuck. We’ve seen a lot of terrible deaths on Supernatural, but this was a mother and her child. And she didn’t want her daughter to die, but she was still putting her child ahead of her, saying, I don’t want to watch her die but I don’t want her to die afraid even more.
