To the people who say they won’t vote in this election, think about how hard the Black community had to fight just to vote in the 1960s.
These cis, hetero, white voters who refuse to vote for Hillary Clinton (who won the popular vote by 3 million and was better at attracting minorities, I might add) have the privilege to ride out a Trump Presidency. I don’t care what this white boy says.
I’m a gay minority, I can’t afford NOT to vote.
That’s right. The only people who feel so picky about only giving their votes for a perfect candidate are the ones who think they can survive Trump.
Minorities (especially race, religious, sexual, disability) almost *never* get a perfect candidate.
But we vote to defeat those that would hurt us: because we care about preserving and advancing our rights and those of other vulnerable minority groups.
