Agree, it’s shame that this wasn’t in the movie! Bifur’s silent, but emotional reactions are priceless. Just mention his “yay” when Thorin hugged Bilbo.
I wouldn’t be myself if I didn’t write anything about Dean and his reaction to the movement of the false eagle. An astonishment, then laughter. Raised eyebrows, eyes wide open, charming dimples, wrinkled nose. Love it!
